MFA REVIEW + TWO ARTISTS IN THE ROOM #7

i passed my advancement review! it went so well. actually, better than i could've imagined.

i'm grateful, humbled and ready to begin work on my thesis. 

some update(s)...

after many trials, the color field painting i attempted went back to black. in fact, a lot of my work is now engulfed in blackness. something i believe will continue as my work develops. 

the semester is winding down and its ending on a positive note. my work, along with my 5/5ths colleague Nkiruka Oparah, is on view to the public at a campus gallery. The show, Two Artists in The Room #7, was a blessing. i was able to have my amazing review in the PLAySPACE gallery.
