hello world

Hello World. It's taken me a minute to get here. For the longest I've been reluctant to call myself an artist. Self-scrutiny and feeling as though I lacked the most fundamental attribute of an artist, >> passion <<, resulted in my shying away from the artist's platform. Revering it as a sacred space, I thought myself too impassive to take myself seriously.

I rationalized that even though I may have a talent for drawing and taking decent photographs, shouldn't such a life path be demarcated by unbridled passion? Anything less would be superficial, right?

Well, it took me ten years to realize that I need to get over myself. I am clearly the only person keeping score on the passion scale. I don't have to prove myself worthy in order to pursue what art has to offer me. As long as what I produce nourishes me on some level, I can call myself whatever I want.

At the end of the day, I am a creative seeker at heart. A nomad in search of my homeland. It may have taken me some time, but I'm here now.

Welcome to my new digital home.
